51 Christmas Horror Movies; The Most Comprehensive Guide Online
Feeders 2: Slay Bells
Aliens invade Earth over the Christmas holidays, and it’s up to Santa Claus and his elves to save the world.
Christmas Evil
Widely recognized as the best of the Christmas horror efforts, Christmas Evil is the story of a boy who loves Christmas. He is scarred as a boy when he learns that Santa is not real. Throughout the rest of his life, the toy-maker tries to make the Christmas spirit a reality. He becomes obsessed with the behavior of children and the quality of the toys he makes. When he is met with hypocrisy and cynicism, the resulting snap causes him to go on a yuletide killing spree to complete this dark comedic horror.
Secret Santa
Secret Santa is a feature length film that tells the story of a group of eccentric college kids, struggling to get through the hectic exam period. This Horror/Comedy is a tribute to B-Movie Slashers but also takes the conventions and turns them upside down. A liquor filled party is planned. Adding a Secret Santa exchange for fun. Little do our characters know… A killer is in town and has a special present for all the good (and bad) girls and boys. Dare to open your present? It might be your last!
All Through the House
ALL THROUGH THE HOUSE is an 80s-style slasher film featuring a deranged Santa Slayer who rips through the town of Napa, California for some yuletide-terror. Fifteen years ago, a peaceful Christmas neighborhood was engulfed by fear when five-year-old Jamie Garrett was mysteriously taken from her bedroom never to be seen again. Now on Christmas break, Rachel Kimmel comes home from college to find her neighborhood struck again by a reign of terror. A violent killer is hiding behind a grisly Santa mask, leaving a bloody trail of slaughtered women and castrated men to the steps of the Garrett house. Rachel finds herself in a horrifying nightmare as she discovers the twisted secret behind the mask.
Christmas Cruelty!
“O’Hellige Jul!” follows both a serial killer as he plans for his next kills, and the next set of victims he has set his sights on. As the group of friends we get to know prepare for Christmas in their own way we also follow the killer as he stalks and does his final research for this years Christmas cruelty. In the last act of the movie he invades the home of our group of friends to execute his twisted little plan as foreshadowed in the first act.
Good Tidings
A homeless war-veteran with a chequered past must rely on a side of himself once thought buried when he and his companions are targeted by three vicious psychopaths wearing Santa suits on Christmas Day.
Child’s Play
When Charles Lee Ray needs to get quick escape from cop Mike Norris, he takes his soul and buries it into playful, seemingly good guy doll Chucky. Little does he know a little boy by the name of Andy Barclay will be the new owner of him soon-to-come. Charles confides in Andy while he commits numerous murders. Once the adults accept Andy’s story as truth, it’s too late.
A Christmas to Dismember
Cameron is part of the most popular clique at school…and most hated. But with the beckoning holiday it seems the hatred for the group has grown. So much so that queen bitch Veronica loses her head over it…literally! Now murder has become a popularity contest thanks the Veronica’s sidekick Samantha, thinking she’s next. This seems true at Cameron’s get-together when she gets “unwrapped”. Now the teens have to barricade themselves and outsmart the killer. But twisted dreams and secret connections threaten their survival and lead to a most twisted finale. In this film, you’d better hold onto your limbs…or you may end up in your own stocking!
Dismembering Christmas
At a vacation winter lake house, seven high school seniors are attacked by a madman out for revenge.
A Cadaver Christmas
United by terrifying and bizarre circumstances, the janitor, the drunk, the bartender, the cop, his perp, and the student security guard must fight to undo the professor’s work. A dark force is at work in the cadaver lab this Christmas and this unconventional band of heroes are the only hope the world has against an army of living corpses that are quickly recruiting new members. The undead have been given the gift of life and it’s up to the janitor to take it back.
Does look like a pretty comprehensive list – I’d just point out that there were actually two “And All Through the House” episodes of Tales From the Crypt. The Zemeckis one was a remake, and the ’72 original was much better (Joan Collins!) – the constant background Christmas music really added to the suspense.
