Carrie Fisher Passes Away at 60

Well, the worst case scenario is now the scenario fans are forced to deal with: After suffering a massive heart attack just days ago, Carrie Fisher has passed away. She was 60 years old.

We’ve all been holding out hope and saying our silent prayers that Fisher would make a full recovery. She was always a spitfire with a heart as big as Texas. This time, however, fate steps in to deal an ugly hand.

Fisher will no doubt be recognized as Princess Leia of the Star Wars franchise, but she was a busy performer who invested plenty of time and energy in the business. She can be seen in genre flicks like Sorority Row, Scream 3 and The ‘Burbs.

Our deepest condolences go out to Fisher’s family, friends and peers. We’ll never forget you or you accomplishments, Carrie. Rest easy with the big man.
