Worst Horror Film of the Year? Our Money’s on ‘The Zombinator’

Written by: Matt Molgaard

What do you get when you cross a micro budget zombie flick and a poor ripoff of The Terminator? You get The Zombinator, just as the title would suggest. The sad thing is, there really isn’t much of anything positive to say about this movie. The opening moments introduce an interesting fashion blogger, and it seems that she’s going to be the focal point of the ensemble, but she kind of fades away into the background within a few minutes and it’s all downhill from there.

A bunch of lame looking zombies attacking the most annoying group of characters put on screen… well, at least in the last few decades. They all insist on screaming over one another which leads to little more than confusion and aggravation. Then Terminator wannabe shows up, attempts to save the day… yada, yada, yada. Honestly, the film is so bad I don’t want to talk about it. I don’t know why the hell I’m even writing this.

Here’s all you really need to know about The Zombinator: It’s technically a terrible, terrible film, it borders on nauseating and if you spend your money on it, be it a renting experience or an on the fly purchase, you just threw your money away.

If you want to get a more detailed assessment of the picture, you can read my thorough breakdown over at best-horror-movies.
