Scream Factory Sends Bite Home on DVD and Blu-ray in August

Bite first made a stellar festival run before landing in a very limited number of theaters in the US. If you were one of the lucky ones to see the flick, you already know it’s just a purchase waiting to happen. The flick is just flat out insane and boasts some really, really slick special effects.

If you missed that limited run, and you’re interested in adding a disconcerting and disgusting picture that grabs the attention and swiftly applies a death grip, you can do so soon. Scream Factory sends the DVD and Blu-ray home on August 2nd, 2016.

Synopsis: While on her bachelorette party getaway, Casey, the bride to be, gets a seemingly harmless bite from an unknown insect. After returning home with cold feet, Casey tries to call off her wedding but before she’s able to, she starts exhibiting insect like traits. Between her physical transformation and her wedding anxiety, Casey succumbs to her new instincts and begins creating a hive that not only houses her translucent eggs, but feeds on the flesh of others. As her transformation becomes complete, Casey discovers that everything can change with a single bite.
