Now this is just the kind of commercial I can get into. It’s got brooding atmosphere and escalating tension from moment one, all the way up to the point in which we feel the fecal matter forced from our bells.

It’s a clear play on popular Japanese horror, but it’s remarkably successful in scaring the wits out of viewers. It could easily serve as a thrilling short film. Instead Autoway chose to craft a commercial with the material.

Clever move? We’re not sure. Especially since it is almost impossible to identify just what in the world is being promoted.

No doubt that Japanese fans found some serious value in this commercial. I just found a desire to change my boxers.
