10 Reasons 2016 is the Greatest Year for Horror on TV

Every year we get a few interesting genre shows hitting cable networks. But it isn’t often we see a solid handful of new shows, all impressive enough to draw viewers in in droves, hit the market in the same calendar year. That’s why 2016 is no doubt special.

Whether you’re into religious horror, slasher horror, monster shows or even documentaries, 2016 has allowed us to take in a massively broad viewing selections. And these shows aren’t just simple time filler, or pass out material. These shows are excellent. So excellent in fact that I can’t, off the top of my head think of another year that produced so many elite new series’.

You’re always welcome to hit the theater and fork over a 20 or so, but these days, some of the absolute best horror isn’t hitting theaters, it’s waiting for you, just a remote controller’s distance away.
