Jocelin Donahue is ‘Dead Awake’ in this Creepy New Trailer
Jocelin Donahue won me over a few years back when she fronted the brilliant throwback feature House of the Devil. That was a great film, and Donahue has what it takes to be a consistently great performer. That is, in large part, why we’re excited to show you the trailer from her latest film, Dead Awake.
You can catch the trailer attached below. The film is tapped to debut at this year’s Shriekfest Film Festival (running October 6-9), so if you’re planning a trip, make sure you’ve reserved a couple hours to check out this promising little effort.
Directed by Phillip Guzman and written by Jeffrey Reddick, Dead Awake co-stars Lori Petty (Gotham, Masters of Horror), Jesse Bradford (The West Wing, Hackers), and Brea Grant (Dexter, Halloween II).
Synopsis: A young woman must save herself and her friends from an ancient evil that stalks its victims through the real-life phenomenon of sleep paralysis.
