The Cast of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 is Growing at an Insane Rate
If you thought season one of Stranger Things featured some awesome performers, you’re going to love our breakdown of all the new faces joining the series, let alone the much more involved roles that a few performers we saw from season one will enjoy during season two in addition to a handful of supporting players confirmed for more support!
Joe Kerry (Steve Harrington) and Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) have been promoted to series regulars, so expect their involvement to be much more noteworthy this time around.
The show stealer Millie Bobby Brown (aka Eleven), will return to reprise her role, and early rumors indicate she’ll again be a regular of the ensemble.
Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan), Cara Buono (Karen), and Matthew Modine as Martin Brenner are all expected to be back for more supernatural secrecy in season two, as well.
Rob Morgan is back rocking an officer’s uniform again. Sources close to the production indicate that both David Harbour and Winona Ryder will also be back, and that’s great news!
Brett Gelman, Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Linnea Berthelsen, Sadie Sink, and Dacre Montgomery are all new additions for season two.
Season two will also gift us an extra episode, so instead of an eight-episode series, we’ll see nine episodes of Stranger Things in 2017.
