Rest in Peace Miguel Ferrer, You Will Be Missed

Miguel Ferrer has been one of my favorite character actors since I fell in love with film, decades ago. The man could really do it all, but he was best as an edgy, loose cannon who wasn’t much for conforming to anyone’s rules. I loved that about the man. And it hurts my heart to tell you that Miguel passed away yesterday at 61 years old.

The man deserved more time.

Ferrer’s résumé was quite extensive and surprisingly diverse.

As for his work in the genre, you may remember him from standout efforts like Robocop, Night Flier, The Shining (TV Mini-series) and Tales from the Crypt.

We’re going to greatly miss the man. And our prayers and condolences go out to Ferrer’s family and friends.
