A Remake of The Blob? With Halle Berry and Samuel L. Jackson?

There’s been another remake of The Blob in the works for years now, and recent buzz has pointed to both Halle Berry and Samuel L. Jackson starring.

As its slated director, Simon West, states, “With modern CGI we can now fully realize the potential of The Blob. The world I create will be totally believable, immersive and emotionally satisfying.” That’s some big talk!

The original Blob was released in 1958, while the remake hit the masses in 1988.
