Stephen King’s ‘Mr. Mercedes’ Getting TV Series Adaptation

King’s novel ‘Mr. Mercedes’ involves a retired detective being taunted by a serial killer. The show based on the book is premiering August 9 on the AT&T Audience Network. It stars Brendan Gleeson (the Harry Potter series, The Raven, The Village) as Bill Hodges, Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful, Honeymoon) as Brady Heartsfield, Ann Cusack (Nightcrawler, Stigmata) as Olivia Trelawney, and Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds, Red Dragon) as Janey Patterson.
