Did You Know Cartoon Network Parodied ‘The Blair Witch Project’ with ‘The Scooby-Doo Project’?

The Blair Witch Project has been parodied more than a single time since its 1999 release, but very few of those parodies have the pop and appeal of Cartoon Network’s The Scooby-Doo Project.

If you’ve never heard of it, we can bring you up to speed by telling you it happened in the fall of 1999, four teenaged sleuths and their Great Dane got lost in the woods while in search of a mystery.

A combination of classic silliness and compelling animation juxtaposed over live settings, this is one of the most unique parody videos out there. It’s certainly one of the coolest maneuvers that Cartoon Network has ever been involved in. And it only gets better with time!
