‘The Dark Tower’ Will Also Be a TV Series

Depending on how well ‘The Dark Tower’ does in theatres (considering that King fans have been slavering for this movie for decades, I think it will do well), there will be a series to follow. And yes, Idris Elba is totally down to reprise his role as Roland. (His   Role-and?)

Actually, the show was planned as a companion to the movie, and writing is in process as we speak. Instead of being an indirect adaptation, as the film is, the show is being set up as an origin story, based on ‘Wizard and Glass’, the fourth book in the Gunslinger series, which focuses on Roland’s adolescence.

Details are sparse currently, but if Elba’s involved, that’s all I need.
