Excitement and Terror in the New Trailer for ‘The Shallows’

Fingers are crossed for something special here. The Shallows seems to have all that is required to craft a stellar genre pic, so we’re hopeful. Take a look at the brand new trailer below.

Jaume Collet-Serra directs from a script penned by Anthony Jaswinski. Blake Lively (The Town, The Age of Adaline), Óscar Jaenada (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, The Losers), Brett Cullen (The Dark Knight Rises, Ghost Rider) and Sedona Legge star.

The film swims into theaters on June 24th.

Synopsis: Nancy (Lively) is surfing alone on a secluded beach when she is attacked by a Great White and stranded just a short distance from shore. Though she is only 200 yards from her survival, getting there proves the ultimate contest of wills. It’s Jaws for a new generation.
