Beware the Brand New and Totally Insane ‘Sharkenstein’ Trailer

If you thought the killer shark craze was beginning to quiet down as Sharknado installments continue their downward spiral, you were wrong. We’ve already seen a slew of these strange spinoffs, and we’ll be seeing yet another head our way soon. And this one, well this one takes crazy to different heights!

Sharkenstein looks absurd and nutty, and we can dig that. You should also be able to dig the new trailer for the film, which is just… well, you really do need to see it to believe it!

Mark Polonia directs from a script penned by J.K. Farlew. Greta Volkova, James Carolus, Titus Himmelberger, Jeff Kirkendall and Ken Van Sant start.

Wild Eye Releasing snagged the rights to this guaranteed-to-be-insane flick, and they’ll push the film in our direction on VOD and DVD this August.

Synopsis: In the final days of World War II, a secret experiment to weaponize sharks is shut down and destroyed by the Third Reich. But now, 60 years later, a small ocean town is plagued by a bloodthirsty, mysterious creature, one built and reanimated using parts of the greatest killers to ever inhabit the sea – the Sharkenstein monster!
