There’s something in the low budget look of this flawed feature that crawls under the skin. There isn’t a single aspect of the picture that feels perfect, but there are a solid handful of very tense, discomforting moments that stick to you.

This one has some loose relation to the fact-based story of the Wasco Clown, but rather than venturing the obvious origin path, writer Nathan Erdel heads in an unforeseen direction. For that, points are given. For the almost guerilla impression the flick leaves on the viewer, points are given.

Don’t watch this film hoping for a masterpiece, as you’ll find yourself very disappointed. That said, do anticipate some freaky clown moments that you may have a little trouble shaking.
