Stephen King’s ‘It’ Fronting the Charge as Clowns Trend in Horror; 10 Scariest Clown Films in Existence

03 Amusement

Amusement might just be the most underrated anthology in existence. For some reason the film simply never caught on. Hell six months after it hit DVD I was able to pick it up for $3. Typically that’s either a sign of a disc overly produced or a dud of a film. Amusement falls into neither category. It wasn’t mass produced on a staggering level, and it’s effin’ awesome! If you’ve let it slip by, look into it ASAP.

There isn’t a single story in the anthology that fails. Every story works, and pretty well at that, but one story in specific… Tabitha, is just body numbing. This story will have your rear end frozen to the sofa, just paralyzed by fear. It’s a superb session, perhaps one of the greatest in anthology history, and the clown at the center of the mayhem is uber-terrifying.

The next time you see this DVD in a random bargain bin, don’t write it off as a worthless B-movie. It’s an excellent film, and Tabitha alone warrants a purchase, whether that purchase runs you $3 or $10. Buy it.
