Thommy Hutson’s new flick, The Id has drawn plenty of early praise. It’s also got a fine lineup of performers in front of the camera, and the trailer definitely impresses. For these reasons, we’re pretty juiced to inform you that the film will be hitting Blu-ray on October 25th, which leaves you plenty of time to watch this one while the Halloween mood is still alive and kicking.

You can take a gander at the film’s trailer below. And then you can make a mental note: come October 25th, you’re going to want to get your hands on this one!

To make matters infinitely cooler, you’ll be able to hit Dark Delicacies, where an advanced signing with the cast and crew will be held on Sunday, October 23rd at 2pm. Signed copies of the film will be shipped to customers outside the Los Angeles area.

Amanda Wyss (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Patrick Peduto (Justice with Judge Mablean), Jamye Grant (Death Suspects a Murder) and Malcolm Matthews (Makeup Call) star.

Synopsis: For decades, Meridith Lane (Wyss) has felt trapped in her home. Surviving on memories of youth, she watches the years slip by while caring for her abusive father…until a figure from her past makes a surprising return. In order to live the life she desires, Meridith must confront her father’s monstrous cruelty and attempt to escape his tyrannical grip. But the man who controls her every move won’t let go without a fight, leading father and daughter into a series of desperate and irreversible acts. As Meridith’s psyche is slowly pushed to the breaking point, the line between fantasy and reality is hopelessly blurred. With strangers prying at the door and the walls of her childhood home closing in, Meridith spirals into a frightening world of paranoia, madness…and violence.
