Jigsaw

We’ve been hearing of a potential name shift for the latest installment in the Saw franchise for a few weeks now. Well, as it turns out, Lionsgate hasn’t just been teasing us, Saw: Legacy is no more, but Jigsaw is!

That’s right, the flick will be titled after the iconic villain/anti-hero of the series, the puzzle playing man of mystery, Jigsaw.

Jigsaw will hit theaters in time for Halloween this year, opening on October 27th!

The film is directed by Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig.

Laura Vandervoort, Tobin Bell, Matt Passmore, Callum Keith Rennie, Hannah Emily Anderson and Mandela Van Peebles star.

Synopsis:

Dead bodies begin to turn up all over the city, each meeting their demise in a variety of grisly ways. All investigations begin to point the finger at deceased killer John Kramer.
