Stephen King’s ‘Gerald’s Game’ Adaptation is ‘All Finished’ Says Director Mike Flanagan
One of today’s true masters of horror, Mike Flanagan, earned himself a Saturn nomination for his excellent sequel (or, prequel), Ouija: Origin of Evil. He deserves that nomination, as the movie rocked, and immediately eradicated the sour memories of the drab and predictable Ouija franchise starter.
But that’s not the only good news for Flanagan, who recently opened up about the progress of a few other projects we’ve all been itching to see: Flanagan’s Netflix adaptation of Stephen King’s Gerald’s Game as well as the new The Haunting of Hill House.
There’s good word on both. Check it out:
“Gerald’s Game is all finished, we’re just sorting out our release strategy with Netflix. There will be more information very soon. I’m so proud of the film, and I can’t wait for it to get out into the world,” he states. “In the meantime, I’m a few weeks into the Writers’ Room for The Haunting of Hill House, which is an absolutely blast so far.”
