07 Parker – Alien

For a while Ridley Scott allowed viewers to believe that the awesome and intense Parker just might survive a horrendous encounter with those nasty Xenomorphs. Realistically, Parker had all the traits of a great hero and his presence was nothing shy of intimidating yet deeply admirable. But Scott’s Alien only had room for one survivor, and we all know who that was.

As much as we all love Ripley (and we all do indeed love Ripley), and no doubt wanted her to escape her encounter with that savage alien, it would have been absolutely brilliant to see Parker escape with his life. He’s such a big lovable stud… but he wasn’t studly enough to topple a nearly invincible opponent like the Xenomorph.

At least he almost made it. That’s got to count for something… right?
